AcBel was awarded “Work-life balance - LOHAS Family Medal”from Ministry of Labor
In the Ministry of Labor's Work-Life Balance Award ceremony in Taipei on Sep. 5, Labor Minister Kuo Fang-yu (郭芳煜) praised AcBel“Work-life balance- LOHAS Family Medal”.
A total of 131 companies that submitted an application to compete for this year's awards, 39 companies were honored for their efforts to improve the work-life balance for their employees. AcBel was honored for parenting support measures for pregnant employees and workers with children. AcBel’s maternity bonus of $66,000 made AcBel stand out among our competitors. AcBel’s parenting support measures help employees alleviate the burden of caring, so that employees work with no worries.
AcBel president David Kao said the basic corporate social responsibility is to show the support and goodwill to employees. Provide benefits in line with the needs of employees will let employees concentrate their energy on work and create a win-win situation of labor. For encouraging employees to give birth, AcBel not only provide maternity bonus but also breastfeeding room, priority parking spaces for pregnant employee, job position for pregnant employee, health advisory service and so on.
